The Barden Bellas are coming to Brentwood! Catch the a cappella group in “Pitch Perfect” on Saturday June 28 at Paul Revere Charter Middle School. Plus catch an a cappella performance of “The Cup Song” by the Santa Monica Chorus.
When a humiliating on-stage vomit-sesh ruins the Barden Bella’s chances of a championship title, the a cappella group must review and revive their previously squeaky-clean performances. Follow the ladies as they battle it out — on stage and among themselves — to regain their title. Starring Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks and the always hilarious Rebel Wilson, “Pitch Perfect” quickly became a cult classic and has even spawned a sequel!
Slated for release in 2015, “Pitch Perfect 2” brings back original cast members Skylar Astin, Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Adam DeVine. Elizabeth Banks will make her directorial debut with the film and is also the producer. Katey Sagal and Hailee Steinfeld have also joined the cast.
The evening will include a wide selection of LA’s favorite fabulous food trucks. Whether you’re craving sandwiches, burgers, cupcakes or ice cream, Eat|See|Hear will have quite the variety of street food on site and ready for noshing! Sample from Steel City Sandwich, Komodo, Street Kitchen, Paiggio on Wheels, Great American Burger, Let’s Roll It, White Rabbit, Schmuck Truck, Tainamite, B Sweet, Coolhaus and Brasil Kiss.
The event will be set up on a large, grassy lawn so plan to bring blankets and pillows or cushions. Remember the event is outdoors, so dress accordingly and be prepared for cooler temps once the sun goes down. There’s parking available on site for $5 so don’t forget to bring a few bucks in cash too. All Eat|See|Hear events are dog-friendly so bring along your four-legged friends! We’d love to meet your pooch at the door and we’ll be handing out biscuits, too.
Doors open at 5:30 and the only entrance is on Allenford Avenue. The band will start at 7 and then “Pitch Perfect” will start at 8:30. Our evening will wrap before 11.
