Los Angeles is filled to the brim with events and activities for all ages this upcoming Memorial Day weekend! From fiestas, festivals and fairs to parades, block parties and shows, LA is officially kicking off the summer with plenty of fun choices for everyone.

Eat|See|Hear will kick off its weekly Saturday movie showing at 5:30 p.m. at the Autry National Center in Griffith Park. Come wind down from the day’s events and relax with fabulous food trucks and a performance by local LA band Haunted Summer with local musician Aaron Embry opening up. Fun for the whole family — including your furry four-legged friends! — we will show the cult classic  “The Big Lebowski” starring Jeff Bridges at 8:30 p.m. on May 24.

Keep your Memorial Day merry on a budget while enjoying dinner and a show on Saturday. Tickets are just $10. Bring a blanket or your favorite lawn chair and get comfortable! We’ll have these and the following food trucks on hand to satisfy your every craving, from BBQ to fresh lobster to ice cream including Belly Bombz, Joe’s Pizza Truck, Cousin’s Maine Lobster, Steel City Sandwich, Let’s Roll It, Smokin Willie’s BBQ, Tornado Potato, Baby’s Bad Ass Burgers, Schmuck Truck, Coolhaus, Brasil Kiss, B Sweet Mobile and more.

There are plenty of other daytime events taking place around LA Memorial Day weekend. The Autry Museum in Griffith Park will host a Pan for Gold family activity on May 24 and May 25 at 11:00 in the morning. In addition exhibitions like the Floral Journey will be available Memorial Day weekend, perfect before retreating to the grassy lawn for our outdoor movie showing. Just across the street from the Autry is the Los Angeles Zoo, another fantastic attraction.
