On Saturday, August 17, 2013, we’re excited to bring you the hilarious and sweet Tom Hanks classic, Big, in La Cienaga Park (8400 Gregory Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90211) in Beverly Hills on Saturday. Big takes us back in time, when we all only wished we were big. Who doesn’t remember the scary unplugged Zoltron at the fair? Who can believe 2013 is the 25th anniversary of Big?
Music will be provided by Loomis Lust, a pop rock band from Santa Barbara, and several food trucks will be on site for the outdoor cinema event, including:
Kogi BBQ, famous for their now iconic short rib tacos,
Grilled Cheese Truck, with their plethora of melted goodness (try the Cheesy Mac and Rib Melt!),
Lobsta Truck, serving up delicious lobster rolls,
Umami Burger, the roving version of the popular store-front eateries,
The Fry Girl, who serves, you guessed it, all the variety of fried things one could ask to have,
Flatiron Truck, with their innovative farm to street food,
Steel City, serving all their delicious sandwiches Pittsburgh style, loaded with fries and slaw,
Slummin Gourmet, whose delightful motto is “fancy without the schmancy,
Coolhaus, for all your sweet treat needs,
Brasil Kiss, with all their delicious and organic coffee and tea drinks,
B Sweet Mobile, with their yummy cupcakes, pies and cookies.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., live music begins at 7 p.m. and Big starts at 8:30 p.m. Enter on Gregory Way at S Hamilton (east of La Cienega).
