LA Drive-In Movie Screening of The Warriors at LA Trade Tech College This Weekend

On Saturday, August 24, 2013, we’re so excited to bring you the movie that brought us the chilling “Warriors! Come out and plaaaaaaaaay.” This cult thriller will never go out of fashion with cinema lovers, with its tale of the powerful New York city gang, the Grammercy Riffs, as they call a midnight meeting and demand each of the of the city’s gangs to send nine delegates to the Bronx, unarmed. The Warriors from Coney Island are framed for the Grammercy Riffs’ gang leader’s shooting, after his idea to share control over the city is rejected by a rival gang.

The Warriors is based on the novel by Sol Yurick and and a remake is currently being planned, but we are proud to present the original 1979 film.
