On June 1, we’ll be showing everyone’s favorite 90s girl power movie Clueless at Paul Revere Middle School (1450 Allenford Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90049). Join us as we follow valley girl Cher (Alicia Silverstone) as she attempts to navigate young adulthood in Los Angeles with her equally misguided but well-intentioned friends Dionne (Stacey Dash), Tai (Brittany Murphy), and Murray (Donald Faison), as well as her older ex-step-brother-turned-love-interest Josh, played by Paul Rudd.
To keep the girl power theme going, we’ll also be enjoying music by female-fronted band Tic Tic Boom! presented by Origami Vinyl and food exclusively provided by female-owned/operated food trucks:
Steel City, offering Pittsburgh-style deli eats.
Lobos Truck, offering often organic, farm fresh comfort food like ribs, burgers, and wings.
India Jones, offering Indian street food.
Trailer Park, great food + good times! It’s not your mama’s home cooking!
Tainamite serves unique Asian dishes made with the finest and freshest ingredients.
Mangia Ristorante, serving traditional Italian cuisine with a Mexican twist.
MacOlicious, LA’s gourmet mac ’n’ cheese food truck.
Coolhaus, serving cool treats, cookies, and artisan candy.
Brasil Kiss, offering direct-trade Brazilian coffee and Brazilian street food.
Sweet Wheels, serving fresh baked goods, fried treats, and hand pies, among other sweets.
Doors open at 5:30, music starts at 7, and the movie will play at 8:30.
